The Journal of Futures Studies Announces the Jan Lee Martin Award Best Paper Awards.
Two awards will be given annually for the best article and essay that most effectively communicates the future (emerging issues, scenarios, visions, for example) and futures studies.
This is to honor Jan Lee Martin and her desire for futures studies to more effectively communicate visions, warnings and methods to the general public and political/social leaders.
The consulting editors will nominate papers and the final decision will be made by the editors of JFS and Peter Lazar, Jan Lee Martin’s surviving husband.
The award amount will be 500 AUD for the best article and 500 AUD for the best essay. It will be given annually in February.
