Introduction
Few sustained efforts to develop scenarios for the future of higher education have been undertaken. The OECD has a futures programme that has produced scenarios for universities over time, but not many institutions take on the task in a sustained or systematic way. Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a bit of a trend-setter in this respect, and this book is to be welcomed by those interested in exploring the future of universities.(continue…)
