Some countries are developing guidelines to educate consumers about the benefits of lower meat consumption.
J. Cloud, Time (Pacific), 12 March 07, in a search for the perfect apple, explores the debate about organic or conventional, but locally grown. The scientific evidence for the advantage of organics is still unproven, small is not necessarily beautiful and local, raises issues of how local? And is it feasible for our societies?
